Missy Moreda, Healthcare Coach
Welcome! I’m a nurse based in Raleigh, North Carolina, with 28 years of experience in neuroscience and critical care, focusing on adult and geriatric care. For the past six years, I have expanded my practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, specializing in diabetes management.
I understand how overwhelming it can be to navigate complex medical issues, especially when life presents challenges that make self-care difficult. That's why I'm here—to support you as we journey through your healthcare together.
Let’s discuss the goals that may have felt out of reach, identify what has been standing in the way of achieving them, and begin to remove those barriers. I believe in a holistic approach that acknowledges the connection between the mind, body, and spirit. Sometimes, making a few small adjustments can lead to a smoother path and a healthier you.
While I would never claim to know exactly what you're feeling or experiencing, I bring not only decades of nursing expertise but also personal insight from my own healing and health journey. There were times I felt discouraged—like my efforts just weren’t enough. What made the difference was the support of compassionate, non-judgmental, creative, and knowledgeable professionals who helped me find my way.
I’ve also been deeply blessed with a loving and supportive family—my husband Leo, our four incredible kids, our wonderful daughter-in-law, and Duke, our loyal dog—plus a circle of friends who’ve lifted me up when I needed it most.
Healing and self-management of helath conditions are not linear, and often are not easy. But with the right support and a little grace, it becomes possible. Let’s walk this path together.
I believe that every individual has the potential to live and feel better. Over many years, I have often heard people state that they were told "to eat right and take their medicine" without a clear understanding of what that meant. This usually leads to disease progression and negative feelings of shame, embarrassment, and failure. Let's eliminate that gap with healthcare counseling and move forward. You are not defined by your health condition.
You deserve to feel better and often with just simple changes, achieving a better mind, body, spirit balance can be obtained. Let's start moving pebbles in your new path forward.
